catalina 22 [ jaguar 22] rudder,kick up type
Dear sir,I was in the same situation as you a year ago when i bought an old jaguar 22[british built catalina 22]with rudder missing.As this boat is no longer in production in the UK.I surfed the American dealers for rudder prices and found the prices to expensive,I decided to make my own. I purchased a sheet of 25mm thick marine plywood £47[timber yard would not sell half a sheet].4x4 is all you need. useing wall paper template a friends rudder and manufacture your own.Also take plenty of digital photographs as it all helps .I also did not have sails with the boat and a kind American on this web-site sent me a set. have the confidence,you can do David Hamilton hamildad@fsmail.net
