I have a new 36,,,to be commissioned in the spring. While putting on the barrier coat we noticed the rudder would bind up on the skeg when swung to port(no problems when swung to starboard) a distance of about 8in. or so. One rep. said its an allignment problem and will be taken care of in the spring. Another said its a manufacturing defect and the skeg will have to be ground away for proper clearance. Has anyone known of such a problem that could possibly help?
