I have a 1980 H30. I have a very small leak at the rudder post, Is there a stuffing box on the post? I am 2 hrs away from my boat, otherwise I would make the trip.
Thanks for your replies.

It definitely does have a packing gland of sorts. But I cannot describe it because all the Cherubinis were different. I thought that I could find something in the archives but no luck. A lot has been written lately and with pictures. But it must have been for other models. An H30 owner will weigh in I am sure. Here is a link that contains a PDF manual for your boat. There is a rough sketch of the rudder assembly but not much help. http://sbo.sailboatowners.com/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=viewlink&link_id=7765&Itemid=257 .
