We are attempting to remove the rudder on our custom C&C 43, to service and replace bearings as needed. Have successfully removed all the nuts and bolts of the quadrant, but having trouble with the final bolts securing the post in place. Can anyone describe how these last threaded bolts need to be removed? (see final two images).
