Question for you H260 sailors. A couple of times while we were sailing along the rudder started coming up. No we were in 50ft of water. It appears the rope on the cleat was slipping due to lots of pressure on the rudder, so up it came. I don't tie it down just in case of...I was wondering after looking at the rudder. There is a second hole that allows the rudder to be pinned at a raised level, say about half way up. Last time we were in the water I checked to see if there was a hole when the rudder is all the way down, NOPE no hole. We typically stay in deep water at least 6ft or greater. How about drilling a hole for when the rudder is all the way down and forget cleating the little sucker. If we goshallow pull the pin.Anyone see any problems with this?Jims/v Javajrseamans@yahoo.com
