I recently bought an o'day 32 cc and the rudder needs to be re-installed? Would like to get input on the how to and parts list with order of installation. The protective shoe in front of the rudder has broken off and I do have the piece. What is the best way to put them back together? thanks

I have a 32 and have never removed the rudder so I can't advise the installation but you should call Rudy Nickerson at D&R Marine who was the production manager at ODay and I'm sure he will have an answer, also on reattaching the shoe (the piece in front of the rudder right?) I would make a pin out of threaded rod or cut the head off a long bolt and epoxy it to the broken piece's and then epoxy the crack with fiberglass mat.
