Does anyone know where I can get some new rudder gudgeon pins. Mine have some wear on them and allows a little too much play in the rudder for my tiller pilot to work well. Thanks, Dan
I don't remember where I got mine because it was about 5 years ago but I waited too long and my rudder separated from the transom just as I was about to go under a draw bridge with very large boats bearing down on me from both directions. Of course I was under sail so it got real interesting real fast!!!!!!!! Good luck.
but they are worn enough to allow some slop in the tiller which causes the tillerpilot to work more than it should to hold a course. It is also a little noisy so I would like to replace them if I can find the manufacturer or distributor for these things. I have inspected them and they do not look like they are anywhere close to failing so I don't expect that to be an issue for me before I replace them. Thanks for your response. Dan
