I have a Blue Crab 11 that’s beautiful and in great shape except for missing a rudder and tiller (important obviously). Looks like parts aren’t widely available for this one, and I’m wondering if anyone has advice or thoughts on a replacement rudder that would be appropriate (and where to find it)?
How good are you at wood working? Wouldn't be too hard to build them. If you like that sort of work... You'd probably want to make the rudder so it can pivot up. Not too hard to do, you can control it with two lines attached to it. Sometimes it's faster/easier to just build these parts than to find them for sale. But good luck in your search.

I bought a new lifting rudder and tiller from the SBO store that supports this website and it was better than the original that came with the boat. Price with the delivery was within pennies of the price from the manufacturer and I think expected delivery time was a couple weeks shorter. Knowing me delivery time was probably a season shorter than if I built a lesser design myself even though I could have saved myself a couple bucks.
