Rudder failure on Hunter 456 cc 2003.

Hello everyone. The rudder on my 456 cc 2003 is split open in the forward bottom part. There is water inside. Big surprise! I have 2 choices. Replace with a new one($$$$) or repair it. Anybody had same issue and tips for repair: re: type of poly foam, etc. Thanks.

You will also need to assess the condition of the rudder post and grid. They corrode after a number of years.
