The stinkin rudder is finally finished. One problem with the last part was figuring out how to get the foam out of the holes I cut into the outer skin to pour in foam. I wanted to put the plugs back in the holes and have the whole thing solid. Then a flash of light, when my brain finally got into gear and working. Took a cut out plug, 1", and cut a piece of sand disc that size. Super guled it to a bolt head, stuck the bolt in a drill, and presto, sanded the foam to the proper depth, and stuck the plugs back in with some G flex. Will try to post some pics of the finished rudder tomorrow.

Congratulations! Sounds like a job done right. If you have some more photos I am sure everyone would appreciate it. A rudder repair is more common than we would prefer to think about...and still get a good nights sleep once in a while.
