Rudder diagram

We are currently cruising in Costa Rica (Gulfito) our rudder is giving us problems, there is a lot of play in the rudder. Bearings?We need a diagram or information about the rudder configuration any information is valuableit is a 1991 beneteau oceanis 515Lynda Poirier

Best start is with Beneteau for a diagram. Depending upon what your problem is,(wobble, stiff, unresponsive to the wheel) the bearings certainly could be the source, especially if its making banging noise or wobbling. Thanks for the pictures. It looks like most of my problem is at the top end of the post. I am currently getting a nylon bushing done and replacing it today. Michel
