Yes, well sort of...
I also have a 29.5 and have considered this. The only thing different about the newer boats is the Chrome insert on the rubber rub rail, and, apparently you can buy a chrome extrusion (at any of the major stores specializing in sailboats) that can be cut to whatever length you would need, and, simply screwed into place on the rub rail. I have yet to look into this, but, the guys at Toledo Beach Yacht Sales (which is one of Hunter's top dealers) say that it is no problem. Got to be a bit pricey though...guess I'll check this spring.
