I've been working all winter to bring the life back to a 1976 H27. I have hit the wall trying to find the rubber seals on the fixed cabin portlights, they are of a size that you just cannot change them. They have been removed and powder coated and new lexan cut. Thanks

Gray Industries portlights?

Gray Industries is the original portlight manufacturer for the Cherubini 27's. They are alive and well here in Tampa, FL. Some years back they were acquired by Pompanette LLC and merged into their Bomar Division. Go to the Bomar page and you will find a section for "Gray". They do sell the rubber gasket material by the foot. Just figure out how much you need plus add 10%. They also have the screens, dogs and various parts for these. I have used the rubber gasket and it is a perfect fit. Once you replace your seals remember not to overtighten them and put some petroleum jelly every 6 months.
