I have an 83 H34. Does anyone know if the rubber grommets are available that the lids for the seat lockers and lazatette rest on when closed? I have tried to use rubber washers from various suppliers, but haven't found anything that works very well. The lids are sitting on the metal screw that holds these grommets in place, and are beginning to crack. Any suggestions?

I just replaced some on my H28.5. True Value hardware stores carries some small rubber pads for the furnitures (chairs I guess. But they work just fine for me. You may want try it.

Just replaced them on my 34 also. I found mine at Home Depot too. They were about the same diameter but not quite as tall, so I got plastic washers to go under them from West Marine and they seem like perfect replacements. They are white and look better than the old black ones. It's funny how all of us with the same vintage and model boats seem to have the same project list. Have you resealed your hatches or ports yet? I'm in the middle of that right now. Bruce

I also got them at Home Depot. You probably won't be able to fine the exact same thing (size, color, or shape), but you will be able to get one that's close enough. Make certain to toss the screws that come with the new bumpers and re-use the existing S.S. screws...

Hey Joe What exactly did you buy for the lid? a washer? rubber stopper? What part of home depot did you find it? Ive looked briefly but have not found what I was looking for in the past. I have a 33.5 that needs a new pair too. Thanks

I found those bumbers at Home Depot as well. They are in the section where they keep those stick-on felt pads for the bottom of furniture legs. Ask a cleck where those are, and you'll find the bumpers.
