rubber baby boarding ladder bumpers

where do they come from and where can I get more? my 1995 h26 boarding ladder that is built int the sternrail has need of new bumpers. I went to my friendly west marine store and I only got a blank stare. they had the double feet for their chairs but nada for ANY ladders. before I reach for the catalogs I want to ask you all here what has and has not worked. suggestions????

Lowes, Home Depot etc.

They have nice rubber ones there They bounce real well but they dont float for squat so be careful when you open the package.

Crutch Tips

Black last longer.

The crutch tips are the ticket. They can also be used on chairs etc. If you have an old one, take it with you.I used some white ones and they only lasted for a little over one season. The black ones lasted for 12 years.
