I have a problem with discoloration on the rub rails on my Hunter 29.5. The gray factory installed rails are showing signs of yellow/brownish discoloration. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any ideas on what to use to restore the original color?

I think those are the same material as the bumper covers on an auto. There are paints designed for them. Why not visit an auto body shop distributor (or just a large shop) and tell them what the problem is and they might help. This is a little outfield, but what the heck... Rick D.

Kroger brand of Clorox Clean-up
I have a 320 Hunter with gray rub rails and I tried the Clorox brand but it did not work. One day I bought the Kroger brand it was cheaper and while washing the boat some got on the rub rail and cleaned it with out rubbing. Well I had tried everything but this did the trick. I did use a brush to conserve cleaner and to get it done ASAP. Now my rub rail looks like it did when I bought the boat. I will say that my rub rails where stained more of a black color than yellow brown but it is worth a try.
