I wasn't a fan of the rubber rub rails on my H376 as far as how they look but after a couple of real close encounters with the pilings in my slip during some strong cross winds I've come to apprieciate their functunality, they can take a pretty good licking without damaging the rails or the boat!! The problem is that they sure build up crud which makes them look terrible and I'm wondering if anyone knows a good and easy way to clean them.

I use Mary Kate Spray Away and its fantastic. Also, if I have dark smudges from rubbing against a piling, I use a 3M purple pad to rub out stains and burns from rubbing.

Don't forget the ORANGE
Having tried to maintain my past three Hunter boats and usually using Acetone with multiple rags I discovered Fantanstic Orange. You can buy it a a Dollar Store for CHEAP and it works easier than anything I have done in the past. I also use it on stains on FRP. It actually leaves a great minor gloss!

This past summer I discovered Bright White, white wall tire cleaner from the auto parts store. Also works on fenders.
