I own and cruise fulltime my 1986 35' O'day sloop. I made the choice to cruise up to Florida's west coast to avoid hurricane season...not one of my better ones. I rode out Charley, Frances and Ivan on the boat, but did recieve damage. Another boat drug into me and I have fiberglass and gel coat damage down my port side. Is this something that can be repaired without much problem myself or should I hire a professional? The final "look" is my concern. I also will need to replace the rub rail.
