Rub Rail

I have seen where other 25 owners have expressed problems with their rub rails leaking. I am no exception. I was wondering If anyone had attempted to rebead their rail, or at least rebead the screws?I am just trying to dry my boat out. Last season I replaced the rubrail, filled the old holes with silicone sealant, and used new screws and silicone sealant when installing new. Without that expenditure, perhaps you could remove the insert on the rubrail and remove all the screws (one at a time), seal the holes, and put the screws back in. A bit painstaking...
