We have a 31' with about 12 inches of Isobel-related damage to starboard rub rail: looks worse than it is, but won't meet insurance deductible, so we are stuck with an ugly spot. Y'all have any ideas/sources? joe
We had some damage to a few feet on our 25 a few years ago and the insurance co. decided to replace the whole rub rail all around the boat. The idea was that patching in a piece would not be aesthetic because of color and function. I just asked and they did it all without arguement.
