rub rail replacement

I may need to replace the rub rail on my ericson 35. we have developed a leak in the hull to deck joint (or under the rub rail) after having the boat trucked up from CA. If anyone has xperience doing this, I could sure use some advise. Can we reuse the old metal and add new rubber?? Must we replace the whole system?? Wherecan we get parts and supplies?? gorf000@comcast.net

Regarding Rubrails

I recently replaced the rubrails on my Ericsson 23 and by checking on the web I determined that Pacific Seacraft, who acquired the rights to Ericsson, does have rub rails available for some models. Check at www.pacificseacraft.com and look for the Ericson linkage for replacement rubrail parts at the URL shown below.
