RUB RAIL REPAIR

The rub rail on my ODay 28 is cracked and hanging down in several places. I have enough projects going and would like to repair it, rather than replace it this year. Any suggestions on kinds of glue or epoxy that works good for this type of repair would be appreciated.

3M 4200

Tape off around the rubrail with low adhesive masking tape. Then apply a generous bead of 3M 4200 bedding compound, found at any boating supply store (West Marine). Press in place and tape to hold it there. When cured, trim the excess with a razor knife and remove the tape. DO NOT use 5200.
