Hi - I'm just wondering if anyone that has fixed rub rail or hull to deck joint has any pics or video of what it looks like. I may need to get in there someday. Even a diagram of how it was constructed for the 23.5 would be interesting. Thanks!

I talked with you on phone before and you suggested leaking rail could be source of leak into bow section. I think you were right. I did a somewhat quick repair using basically a 5200. I could pull the rail out from the hull and see the screws that I think hold in the track. I should have taken pics but did not. I feel pretty confidant that was the leak. Eventually I will probably need to do whole rail in the off season.

5200 above the water line except for the hull to deck joint is satan’s glue. 4200 or butyl tape ok.
