The white outer casing of the rubrail on my 1981 25 Oday has cracked.How how is it attached to the hull?Aout how many hours to rplace the wholething?Yes I will be calling Rudy at D&R .Thanks
It's attached with stainless steel screws into the hull. You have to back them out, patch the holes and then use them to secure the new rubrail. They should be self-tapping. It takes about 6 hours for the entire project.You'll need two people to put the new one on. I just did it on my 22. Total cost was about $200 including a new rubrail (TIACO)and all of the fittings and the 5200 (adhesive).
