Rub Rail for the OD 22

I am painting the old and took off the old, black vinal rub rail. It is ugly stuff and I hope to replace it. West Marine seems to have the same old stuff except new, and I am wondering if any of you have a better suggestion. All tips and experience is happily recieved.

I bought my rub rail and the white rail holder from JandR and was very satisfied. The only trick is heating the white holder to bend it around curves.

How much???

Hi Roger!!! If I may ask, how much, and how do I get in contact with them? The former owner(s) of my vessel just screwed the black insert to the hull/deck joint, when the holder started to crack and break off. (Lots of sun and age) I have to epoxy all the damage they done first. Fair winds, Mr. Jim S/V: Dream Maker 1975 O'Day-22
