Hi MArie

The MD6B uses a big transducer fitted on the engine housing at the rear,
it reads the teeth on the cam gear I think. You will need to ensure it
has this transducer first as most do not have it fitted. It is about an
inch across and teh size of a large thumb. I have found that teh tacho
is a luxury easily done without. The sound of teh engine is mor
eimportanat and you soon get used to it with use. The tacho you are
pointing at will need a transducer and you would have to know if it
worked with teh MD6A/B transducer (if fitted)

Hope this helps

Cheers
