Routing speaker wires

I want to put speakers above the forward bunk. I know it will be a bit messy as I'll have to pull all the flotation material out then replace it when finished. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to get speaker wires up to that compartment. I've seen pics of several 26x's that have speakers in that location, so I know it can be done. Anyone have any suggestions?

Fish Tape

Use an electricians fish tape to pull the wires between the liner and the hull.

Speaker mounting

I used externally mounted speakers so they could be replaced easily, and no big cutouts needed. I ran the wires externally from the speakers to the sides, then aft to the liner joint, then across the liner joint to the port side, then behind the liner to the companionway where I have the tuner/deck/changer mounted. In crossing the boat from starboard to port at the liner joint I used plastic loop hangers with pop rivets. It's out of the way, can't be seen unless forward of the joint, and was fast and easy to do. Repair or removal will also be fast.
