Round Battens

Hi- I noticed on my first sail that I was missing the next to top batten on my full batten main. I actually found it later in the V berth and it is broken. Maybe why it wasn't in the sail The battens are round about a 1/4" in diameter. At the luff is a plastic threaded receptacle which is missing the slug (for capture and adjustment I presume). Anybody know where I can purchase round battens? I probably can come up with a slug of some sort. Picture attached of receptacle

Try your local sail maker. I have the same system. I got my battens and caps from Ullman Sails

Doug, If you're on a budget & the batton is round then PVC plastic plumbing pipe might work. ps. I noticed you listed a C27 & C 30. Do U own 2 boats? I always wondered how sailors can afford more then one, when I have a hard time keepin up one boat, let alone slip payment & insurance on two of 'em!

JR- Yup! I'm an idiot! I can't, that's why the 27 is for sale. I have put lot of money and effort in the 27 but just had to have the 30. Luckily I don't have to put much money in it but the cost of 2 slips and 2 insurance can't be supported for too long.

I thought about getting a 5/8" flat batten and sand the width where it goes in the round receptacle.
