Nope...not that one either. There are all kinds of "structural plastics." Just 'cuz something works on some, or even most, of 'em does NOT mean it'll work on PE. NOTHING will permanently bond to PE.

Well I'm not going to argue. I do know that it's worked for my PE tank

The high tech industries has been using such 'advanced' adhesive methods and advanced techniques for the past 20+ years for the repair and joining of such low surface energy polymers, such as UHMWPE, PTFE, ECTFE, etc. etc. .... and it will probably take another 20 years before the 'boating industry' even becomes aware.
Its better not to argue with 'experts'.
