Why?

...not really understanding why you would want to know... but since you do have you tried asking Catalina Yachts customer service?

I think Sampson XLS for the halyards and trophy braid for the sheets, but I am going from memory.

Rope is rope until you apply it in an application......such as a sailboat. A sailboat actually has a "rope " , known as a bolt rope. The only rope on a sailboat I would think. I.e.....You would buy New England 3/8' braided rope to use as a line (maybe a halyard) on a sailboat. Fair winds!
