So, I was at a rope splicing class on the weekend.. Thought I would make a new splice for the anchor....

looks like they have an abundance of supervision. Like any seaman worth his salt would need to be supervised making an eye splice. course in this case he may need a hand lifting the dang thing.

Can you imagine splicing an eye in a double braid that size? Gives a new dimension to "milking down the cover"
