Yes, rope clutches.
My control lines are lead back to the cockpit and go through ganged rope clutches in front of the cabin top winches; outhaul, mainsheet & vang to port; cunningham, main halyard & downhaul to starboard. It's overkill for the downhaul, but keeps things uniform. I have Garhaurer rope clutches and am very happy with them. The traveler lines are in clam cleats.
The '82 H30 has raised areas with thick aluminum plate laminated into the fiberglass cabin top to each side of the companionway for drill & tap installation of winches, cleats, rope clutches, etc. Same at the mast base, deck organizers, and even the chainplates (Though flush, not raised at the chainplates.). No need to deal with backer plates or the interior liner. I don't think the earlier H30's have this feature. I am not sure what year Hunter added it, but you should be able to tell pretty easily whether or not your '81 has it.
