I'm glad to hear you got out there, and didn't go down the rapids ;) Racing with experienced crew is one of the best ways to learn how to sail. What boat did you race on?

Did you dry sail or get a wet mooring? I'm just curious if you ramp launched or used the crane. I hear the harbour is full so it's hard to get a mooring.
I took part in the RUST series and crewed on Abracadabra. The boat is still in the water and we will take advantage of a few more weeks if weather permits.

Next season I'm not sure we will get a wet dock but we are on the list.

The RUST series is a great way to get into racing and Konrad is a very experienced sailor.

Agreed. He and Shawn, your neighbor, have been great instructors. Next season I'm hoping to crew some of the other events and may captain my boat in the rust series. Crewing with a gentleman that has circumnavigated has plenty of advantages. Also, knowing that the guy started at exactly the same place I did is great!
