Hi, Looking to upgrade my entire suit of sails. Came across NationalSail.com, who carries Rolly Tasker Sails at a VERY good price. I actually currently have a Genoa of theirs that I have been happy with, but I am looking for feedback on their other sails. I am looking into a New 2+2 Battened Main, A New 150% Genoa, and their Cruising Spinnaker. Anyone have any expereince with any of these? I sail a catalina 22, so any feedback from other owners with RT sails would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks and Happy Holidays! Anyone know of any other places to get sails for a Catalina 22 that won't cost me an arm and a leg? The sails described above will cost $1645 with shipping..... not bad....

Prostock Sails

The Prostock brand carried by The Sail Wharehouse: http://thesailwarehouse.com/ are made by Rolly Tasker in Thailand or Australia. I bought a new main and a jib for my Hunter 23 three years ago and have been happy with them. I sail three or four times a week during the summer, and sometimes in pretty breezy conditions. The sails are still crispy and show no appreciable signs of wear. I wouldn't characterize the quality of their work as poor.

Tasker Sails are a great value

I have two Tasker sails on my H37C. I have had them for 4 years and have been very pleased. The quality of construction is on a par with any sails I have seen from a US loft. The sail shape may not be quite as refined as a US made high performance sail but for my needs it makes little difference to me. I see a lot of sails in my profession and recommend Tasker sails for anyone except die hard racers. You cant beat the value for the product. Dan Sheehan AMS

Try Catalina direct

Catalina usually has stock sails at reasonable prices for thier boats. It cant hurt to give them a call. Dan Sheehan AMS

Scott Sails

I ordered a new Genoa from Scott Sails. http://www.scottsails.com/ I can't speak for their quality yet because I haven't recieved the sail yet, but they had the best price and so far they have been very helpful/friendly. -- Jeremy
