I am interested in installing a rolling furler. However, I reeeallly like my big 150 Genoa. There is the problem. The sheet for the working jib is to be routed through a stationary block on the deck just aft of the shroud lines. The Genoa works best when routed through the cars on the sides of the cockpit. I feel that I have sheets routed correctly, but if I install a furler I will need something a bit different. Any suggestions will be good ones, I am sure.Seth-

Seth, I have the same set up and I use the cars on my RF 150 on Snapfurl RF. Your current 150, if you are having it cut to fit the RF will only change slightly. You can keep the same setting conditions, pretty much.Don

RF with a 150

I installed a RF with a 150 last season and I ust ran the sheets back to the cars on the side of the cockpit. When I roll up the Genoa to 110%, I still run through the cockpit cars. But the sail maker cut the sail to run through those cockpit cars from 110% to 150%.EJ

Do you not see a need for the block on the deck now. I am guessing that the sail that I am refering to as the working jib is the 110. You are saying that you just run it through the cockpit cars. How does that affect the trim?I am looking to get new sails. Mine are as old as the boat and have been refurbed already. Who did you use for your sail work?Thanks for your help!
