My current roller furling is seperate from the head stay. Is there an "under a fortune" roller furling system that is specifically designed or available for the 22 that doubles as the headstay?

Roller Furlers

Rex - There are inexpensive roller furler units that utilize the headstay by rotating around them, but none to my knowledge that do away with the head stay. I would look in a CDI unit for your boat. They are relatively inexpensive, work well, and hold up very well. Justin - O'day Owners' Web

I agree with Justin...

CDI is a good furling system, inexpensive too! You can check them out at www.cruisingdirect.com or click on the link below to my web page. Cheers, Bob

Schaefer snap furl

Two years ago I got a Schaefer snap furl at the Atlantic City show - great price (about $300 as I recall). Anyway its performed beautifully - I would recommend it to anyone. Ed

CDI Furling

I have a CDI FF4 on my Oday 25 and am very happy with it. It was very easy to install and only took me a few hours with two other friends. It sure is nice not haveing to go forward to hank on and off the jib now. EJ Tews O'Day 25 _/) Jennifer Lea
