Roller Furling Upgrade - ODAY 272

I must replace the CDI roller furling on this 1986 vessell. Cruiser - no racing or heavy winds.

Any suggestions on equipment?

Schaefer SnapFurl Jib Reefing and Furling System?

PROFURL C290?

CDI?

I cruise in the PacificNW. I replaced a Profurler with the Harken MKIV furler. It has been a significant improvement on my boat.

CDI is still in business under new ownership.

I replaced the CDI on my boat in 1995 and the Schaeffer Seafurl I replaced it with has been going strong ever since. I believe it has roller bearings and is all steel. Not sure it’s still made but if it is, it’s rocksolid.
