My line to the drum of my rolling furling jib broke last season. I have a h 23 1985. I need to replace it. What length is needed. I assume it is a little longer than the length of the boat. Thanks in advance. Dave

should be twice your boat's length. Keep in mind that the line will roll onto the drum. On a 23, you will need 50 feet more or less. I replaced the furling line on my 30. I used a braided/cored polyester that I found at a home improvement store. I don't recall if it came as 75 or 100 feet, but it only cost $10. It works great, doesn't stretch and a little excess line is always good to have around.
