The original rig dimensions are as follows

"I"=40.3ft "J"=12.0ft "P"=36.8ft "E"=11.8ft Your forestay should be just over 42ft. I recommend the Harken unit 1, either the Cruising Furler, or the MKIV Here's a link to that page of our site. http://shop.catalinaowners.com/category.htm?fno=20&cat=1606 Call me for a better price!

If "roller furling headstay" means

the foil or extrusion for a roller furling headsail system, you'll probably have to take measurements of your boat and cut one of sections of a furler foil kit to fit. Since you really need to measure twice (or more) times, and cut once, you really don't want to depend on theoretical sail plans or you may wind up with an added expense.

Warren, it is always wise to put a tape to the forestay prior

to ordering, but with a luff range up to 52ft8inches, it's a pretty safe bet the Harken unit 1's will fit.
