roller furling end block

I have a 93 h27. I would like to find the best way to handle the roller furling line. It seems to need one more block of some sort to more easily roll and unroll it. Someone mentioned a fiddle block whick seems like would make it difficult to unroll and would also be scraping on the deck.Chris Boland Marco Islandcboland@chealthpartners.com

Blocks on the lifeline stanchions

My roller furler line comes aft down the starboard side through 3 or 4 small blocks mounted about 6 inches off the deck on the lifeline stanchions.
