Hi I am a semi-new owner of a hunter 23. Right now I have a 150 geneao jib and of course my storm jib which I havnt used yet. But I was thinking about getting a roller furling and wasnt sure of a bunch of things. A. How hard is it to install(do i need to drop my mast?) B. I belive I need a new jib if so how big would anyone suggest? 150 still or 160? smaller? Also cross cut or tri radial? and also what kind to get and where from. Thanks guys! Also I have a nearly new storm jib for sale best offer if anyone wants it and maybe my 150 if i get a roller furler. bluedog189@aim.com -Jeff

Roller Furling

We have a hank on jib with a downhaul so I don't know to much about the roller furling part. There are several posts in the archives about roller furling. Some modified the anchor locker and some put it above it. I would be interested in the 150. My email is sales@mortoncontracting.com. Hope it all works out well for you. Rob Morton S/V Euphoria

Got a CDI

I just bought a CDI roller furling system with a 150 genoa from FX Sail's they were wonderful to deal with! I highly recommend them if anyone is in the market for sails or furlers they knew all about my boat and helped em pick out whats best! I do have a 150 genoa and a 100 working if anyone wants them let me know bluedog189@aim.com
