Roller furler for Capri 16

I just bought a 1993 Capri 16 and I'm now involved in fixing her up. I noticed that the steel rope that attaches the top of the roller furler to the mast is frayed and I would like to replace it. How can I find out what this part is, where to get it and how much it will cost me?
I hope I don't have to replace the whole fuller.

Is there a brand label on the roller furler? My Capri 16.5 had a CDI furler, I think. If you can figure out what brand it is, start there. Otherwise, try calling Catalina Direct (www.catalinaidirect.com) in Sacramento - I've talked to them a couple times and have found them very helpful.
