Hey Folks:I have an idea that I want to run by the group. I have a Morgan 32 with a ProFurl roller furler on the headstay. I don't keep my genoas on the furler but rather use it as a way of being able to reduce sail quickly if a need to. I have one jib halyard and no spinnaker halyard at this point. I am thinking of a way to fly a cruising asym spinnaker without having to run an additional halyard. My idea is to lower my headsail and fly the chute using the upper and lower attachment points of the furler. I would fly the the chute for an inside jibe and allow the furler to rotate to get the head and clew properly facing outboard. I am thinking of this as a light air set up, not a heavy air set up. Has anyone tried something like this?Just a thought,Kevin
