Steve D. This post is directed to you or any other experienced salties. During refit of a H-33 I want to replace the jib roller furler and have considered Harken or Profurl. Recently came across Steve D.'s posting that Spintec furlers are the best. Have read their ads and they do indeed seem robust. Do you know of anyone who has actually tried a Spintec and how they liked it? There is also a $250 rebate till the end of month running on all Spintec furlers. I really would appreciate any comments from someone with Spintec experience. Thanks Charlie K

Don't have one yet.

Charlie: I do not have one yet, but this is the plan for next sailing season. Considering that they have nothing that needs or really can be maintained and they have a lifetime warranty helped me make my decision. You can call and speak with their staff. They are a small company and have good tech. support. They CLAIM that one of their units can be installed in less than an hour. I would suggest that you also give them a call and see what you think.
