Robertson autopilot rod end

I have a friend that has a hydraulic Robertson linear drive, that has been rename since Simrad /Navico bought them over as a Navico / Simrad HLD350 / HLD2000 hydraulic MK2 hydraulic linear drive. His rod end or Ball joint, P/N 21113295 is completely destroy, salt and rust, that has made the ball joint fixed. The boat (Hunter 45) is in Panama at the moment, no way to get parts there. I just found out that Navico does'nt carry this part anymore !!!???
Any idea where to get one, or have a replacement made ?

If I were he, I would try to find a machine shop there to have them make one. I doubt it is forged, but even if it is, they should be able to make up something that will work. I would check at an airport for a machinist.
