Good morning team,

Can anyone make a recommendation for a hardy rivet tool and fasteners. I have some mast and boom hardware to attach, ie. pad eye for whisker pole, cam cleat, cheek block, etc. Mostly small stuff attached to aluminum. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have bought 3 different Arrow brand rivet tools and found them to not have enough leverage for larger size stainless and aluminum rivets. I finally went to Harbor Freight and bought their heavy duty rivet tool - half the price of others and substantially better. I am a big fan of paying for high quality tools but this has been an exceptional purchase that worked better than expected

That one has some good reviews too. Ok, off to Harbor Freight. I appreciate the quick response Mike.:dancing:

"somewhere" in this mess I have a good unit, with 4 sizes of dies. I'm fortunate I get to take 4 pills a day, and that keeps me in a good supply of empty pill bottles. It is great to put on the diameter and length of the rivets with a magic marker, and if aluminim or SS or steel..

I have the arrow one you showed. I often have to pull on it a lot and then end up breaking the pin by hand with a pliers.
