Rigrt size prop for a 340

We have a new (2001) Hunter 340 and looking at installing a PYI three blade prop on the boat this spring. What size prop fits the Hunter 340 and where can I buy one?ThanksFloyd

PYI will advise

You can safely rely on PYI's advice.On my 340, I have a 16 inch Maxi two blade.You'll more than likely take a Maxi 16 inch 3 blade. The pitch is adjustable, and PYI will give you a table that calculates that for you. You will probably adjust it from that if you haul it out as mine was a little too much pitch.There is also a model of the maxi that is adjustable in the water. You may want to also consider that.But the bottom line, is that PYI will advise you of the correct size. Incidentally, your current prop is a 16x13 I believe, though you could check that quickly by emailing Hunter (see their connection on the main page of Hunter's Owners Web.Lastly, you'll love the feathering prop and find the 3 blade much smoother than my 2 bladed mode.Jim
