Rigid coolant hoses, is this normal or do they need to be replaced?

is there a specific purpose for the t-band clamps? i've been using scandvik clamps during my refit. but I see some people tend to use t-bolt clamps on exhaust pipe. i wasn't planning to. or in other terms does each style of clamp have a specific purpose or required use location? If not, can i just use scandvik clamps everywhere?

I think for hoses you will be fine with Scandvik, but I have heard you can put a lot more pressure on with the t-bolt.

1/ i heat a quart of h 2 0 in the microwave and dip a hose end into it before greasing the end and trying to fit it in its new location. easier than using a hair drier. 2/ i carry an e xtra of the preformed and weird and expensive yn mar hoses since i once waited 3 weeks for he bizarre hose that connects into the oil cooler (which had 2 different diameters...) 3/ during your hose change out, replace your thermostat and do a maintenance on your cooling system since you'lll be leaking antifreeze all over anyhow.
