We have hull #49. We took delivery in Jan. 2003. We noticed about 1 month after this that the nut and spring ring where the rigid boom vang attach to the mast was rusted. We sent this picture to the dealer and have asked why this happened. We have tried to remove this but it is rusted on. Who makes this model of boom vang? I believe mine is made by Carolina Spars but I can't find them on the web. Anybody else have this problem?
