I have a 1970 O'Day Mariner 2+2 and need to know how the boom is supposed to be properly rigged.I have to replace the mainsheet and need to know how it should be run thru the various blocks from the keel trunk up to the boom to the stern. Is there a manual available that would give me some diagrams or does anyone out there have a manual that could send me some diagrams.I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

Mariner Boom

Paul -- I have a copy of the owners manual from 1976, which is probably close enough to your model year to be helpful. If you will send me mailing address or fax number, I will be happy to send to you.

Can another guy get a copy?

Chuck, Any chance of making another copy? I bought a 1974 Mariner 2+2 last year and, being a newbie, have lots of questions, especially about the rigging. I love the boat so far - just motoring with a 4 horse Mariner OB. Mast fell, got damaged, trying to rig a spare that came with the boat. Thanks for any help. Would be glad to reimburse you for the manual copy. Dave

Yet another...

I just pick up a Mariner 2+2 and being new as well to the Mariner (and to sailing), I could use a copy of your manual as well. Would you be so kind as to e-mail me with any information you could help me obtain. Thanks

Rigging HELP!

I can't believe how many other people are in the same situation as me. I am also having rigging problems on my recently purchased 1976 ODay - 19' Mariner. Being new to sailing and also not having any type of manual the info you seem to have would be of great value to me. Anyone with any info please e-mail me @ vaughanb@toysrus.com What's a 2+2? Thank you.

Chuck Hurt: Chuck: If I could please provide me with a copy of your Mariner Manual, I would be pleased to digitize it and place it on the 0'Day Owner Forum Website. I own a 1975 Mariner. As many people are interested in obtaining a copy of the Mariner Manual, this would be an efficient way of satisfing this requirement. If you agree, please send me an e-mail at thomp59@attglobal.net and I will send you my address by return e-mail. Jim
